Sara is a natural medicine specialist, culinary instructor, and longtime gong practitioner/dealer. She consciously raises her daughter Onyx while still collaborating and connecting with sound enthusiasts and innovative health practitioners for an ever-evolving practice.
She is a natural teacher, but don't expect her to take anything too seriously or be too conclusive.
Over the past 12 years she has studied extensively in the fields of Culinary Arts, Nursing, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Herbalism, Yoga, Meditation, Raw Foods, Sound Therapy, and Autism, Substance Abuse, Trauma Recovery, Eating Disorders, and Psychology.
Sara's undergraduate education is in Biological Psychology, Nursing, Medical Biochemistry, and a Master's of Clinical Research (specializing in Nutrition and Natural Medicine), as well as multiple yoga teaching certifications. A longtime raw foodist and passionate eater, she is an advocate of balance and fun in life. She works with those struggling with eating disorders, chronic pain, cancer, neurological disorders, and mindset transformation.
A former Matthew Kenney Culinary/PlantLab instructor, Sara has pioneered new techniques and recipes in the raw and plant-based food worlds and created menus for several restaurants. She is publishing her second cookbook while raising her daughter. Availability is limited, but you can still host a workshop on healthy cooking, gluten-free baking, seasonal whole food cuisine, and raw foods or order a custom birthday or wedding cake.
Sara has made gongs, played gongs, sold gongs, lived on tour, visited makers in their workshops, stayed in the homes of masters, and offered mystical, light-hearted meditation classes for nearly 10 years.
