Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year. It is a cosmic pause where darkness reaches its peak and the first spark of returning light is born. Across cultures and generations, this threshold has been honored as a time of stillness and reflection. It is a moment when the veil thins, intuition sharpens, and the heart is invited to reconnect to the light within.

This Solstice arrives nestled within the energy of the final new moon of the year and the conclusion of a universal nine year, the number of completion, as an invitation to to lean into the quiet wisdom that endings carry. As one cycle or season ends, another hums just beneath the surface.

Join Sara and Truth for an evening of retreat to honor the turning of the season and the divine light of the heart through ceremony, sound, and nourishment for the mind, body and soul.

The voice as a powerful tool for healing and expansion of the heart. Chanting mantras helps to foster a deep sense of connection within oneself and with all of creation.

Fire is a living presence that supports transformation and illuminate. It is a sacred place to offer prayers, gratitude, and any energies that are ready to be alchemized by the fire.

Gong metals are high transmitters of electricity, emitting rich resonant vibrations that work on a cellular level. They support the release of tension and old patterns, calm the nervous system, and invite profound states of meditation and inner vision.

Reiki is universal life force energy that is channeled to release energetic blockages, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Holy Fire Reiki is an advanced system of Reiki that works beyond the physical, mental, and emotional layers of the body and meets each recipient at the level of the soul, dissolving what is ready to be released at the root and illuminating greater truth and wholeness from within.

432 Hz has long been associated with the natural cycles of life and emitting a frequency that supports the restoration of a natural state of being, like tuning an instrument back to its original pitch. It is commonly reported to reduce stress and anxiety, support mental clarity, foster emotional healing, and improve the quality of rest.

The evening concludes with a communal meal prepared by Sara and cacao prepared by Truth, nourishing the body and heart. Seasonal fare is plant-based and gluten-free to accommodate most dietary needs.

Care for little ones is offered during the ceremony and sound journey, allowing parents to fully immerse in the experience. There is limited availability for this option. Advance registration recommended.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS:

Truth is a multifaceted, trauma-informed integrative wellness advocate walking a path where ancient wisdom meets modern healing. She is devoted to fostering genuine connection and cultivating heart-centered offerings that invite us home to ourselves as well as to the heartbeat of a collective awakening. Truth tends to the garden of the soul where grief, joy, and all sacred transitions are invited to coexist. Her mission is to offer guidance and support through the journey of liberation by awakening and embodying the authentic self.

Truth is an ICRT certified and registered Usui/Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki Master, Intuitive Sound Medicine Facilitator, Bhakti Yogi, Hatha Yoga Instructor, and Shamanic Practitioner. Her work weaves sound and spirit, yoga and shamanic wisdom, guided and intuitive movement, and plants and prayer. Academically, Truth holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wayne State University and has an extensive professional background in Community Health.

Sara is a practicing nutritional biochemist, wild botanicals pastry artist, and gong alchemist of 15 years. Her sound journeys are an audible celebration of life, energy, and healing. They open a wormhole in the fabric of duality and invite crystalline unification consciousness. She uses an expansive collection of artisan silver nickel gongs, including two she forged herself in Germany, as well as sound bowls, harp, harmonium, and voice. Her offerings create deeply emotional and meditative experiences rooted in the primitive sounds of Creation and the nurturing embrace of the feminine voice.

Sara has toured across the US and Europe for gong facilitation and studies. She has worked as a gong wholesaler and consultant for 13 years. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition, along with degrees and certifications in Neuroscience, Nursing, Medical Biochemistry, and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. In addition to over 1,000 RYT hours including Bhakti chanting and storytelling, and being a classically trained chef instructor, Sara crafts organic raw vegan chocolates and cakes, ceremonial cacao, wild American Shilajit, floral salts, and more, which she will offer during the event.

THE SPACE:

Triple Crane Retreat Center functions as a teaching, practice, and retreat center for Chinese Huayen Mahayana Buddhism and it's dynamic, whole system approach of combining the Classical Hatha Yoga system as taught by Swami Kripalvananda and Chinese Mahayana Buddhism.
