Grain and nut-free vegan, pressed violet, lemon, and lavender flower mini shortbread cookies. The texture of these has evolved to perfection over the years. These cookies are each 2" in diameter.
These violets show up for a very short time around our eco minded nature community in several yards that I barter for, and a few secret spots in our 50+ acres of nontreated wild and lovingly cared for woods. No spraying is allowed on any of our community property, including personal yards. Stock of these is limited due to ethical harvesting (not depleting the areas for pollinators and other wildlife) and their short time here each year.
Violets are hand-picked just before baking, and pressed in biochemistry textbooks and art books prior to adding to cookies. Crispy, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth with a bright floral flavor. Each cookie measures 2” across.
