Finishing salts are added to food at the end of cooking for extra color and flavor. This salt pairs well with desserts, chocolate, cream, brownies, hot cocoa, coffee, oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage, and savory dishes.
The lavender is VERY subtle here, I made sure to keep it light. The purple hue is beautiful and the lemon zest as the primary flavor gives this a perfect floral and tart citrus balance.
Only a little pinch is needed. A small jar of exquisite ingredients goes a long way. Use sparingly.
Ingredients: Fleur de sel salt, dried organic lemon, organic dried lavender flowers from a local lavender farm.
