this cacao butter is cold pressed to separate the cacao powder and butter from each other. Metals such as lead (which is virtually nonexistent in our products), cadmium, arsenic (also almost nonexistent), and other metals naturally occurring in earths crust are all transferred to cacao powder, they are not present in any cacao butter.
this butter is high in saturated fat, a great replacement for animal fats as it contains some of the same fatty acids as tallow, butter, etc.
cacao butter is high in vitamin e and vitamin k as well as many antioxidants.
i use 1/2 tablespoon to replace every tablespoon of cream in things like coffee and blend.
